While I agree in principle with James Bow that Liberal party members don't stop being ordinary Canadians simply by virtue of being Liberal party members, that doesn't keep the unmasking of the "ordinary Canadians" in the Liberals' television ads from being pretty damn funny. The NDP sure are waging war on the Liberals this time around, aren't they?
And this bit on the proposed Liberal handgun ban from a conservative blogger in Calgary made me laugh out loud:So Martin has decided to ban hand guns. This is an interesting move, since nobody in Canada actually owns any hand guns, except cops (who are exempt from the proposed ban), licensed gun collectors (who are also exempt) and criminals (who will likely be disinclined to observe the ban). This move opens up the door for the Liberals to ban all sorts of things that don't exist, such as Bigfoot or the Tooth Fairy.
