Calgary Grit points out an interesing little tidbit from this depressing Globe and Mail article about how the Tories are planning for a majority:Conservative nomination rules have been posted and every riding will have a nomination meeting, Mr. Plett said. Former candidates, even those who are now sitting as MPs and cabinet ministers, will have to win the right to run for the Conservatives.
Interesting--sitting MPs facing nomination battles in safe ridings? The likes of Rob Anders and Cheryl Gallant having to work to save their hides? Break out the popcorn; this is going to be fun.
